Blue sky. Sunshine. Sticky snow.
Sounds like a recipe for
Medium: red food coloring on snow
I know I already used snow to create my apple here but I used the medium in an entirely different way this time. Last time it was the paper. This time it is the clay.
Besides I’m starting to wonder what I’ve gotten myself into. There are a lot of apples stretching between now and #100.
Although I am starting to get suggestions — Thanks, Darlene. Thanks, Gabriel! — so maybe I needn’t worry after all.
Still, I’m not going to let that stop me from using this medium a third or even a fourth time if another snowy idea arises. After all, paper figures as a background for many different mediums.
Back to my blushing beauty.
While it is a fine apple, this photo doesn’t adequately capture its . . . scale.
It’s all about perspective, isn’t it?
Apple #14 wasn’t the only creation that day. While I was busy apple-ing, Jacob made some new friends.
What a handsome bunch!
Today’s tumble-down-the-rabbit-hole word was inspired by Jacob’s backyard pals.
