Ahhh music!

Here’s a tidbit.
My 50-something friend went to see the Doobie Brothers at the Nakusp folk festival this summer. She said it immediately took her back to her first taste of freedom as a 16 year old grooving to the Doobie Brothers while driving her friend’s mother’s car, far from her own mother’s watchful eye.
Which reminded her of an experiment done with a group of elderly people. The group was taken to a resort isolated from the outside world. They were provided with clothing from their teenage years and the resort was outfitted with furnishings and music from that era.
The group’s physical strength and thinking abilities were measured when they arrived at the resort and measured again at the end of a week.
The result?
After 7 days of reliving their youth, all members of the group were stronger and had greater mental capacity.
So . . .
the next time you’re feeling old and tired, crank up the stereo with some of the music from your youth.
(vintage) clothing is optional.
